Sangeetha graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic in 2013 with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy and began her career at the National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS). During her four years at NDCS, she treated medically compromised patients, further refining her skills in comprehensive care. Her interest in treating special needs patients grew while serving in the Geriatrics and Special Needs Department. In addition to her experience at NDCS, Sangeetha has worked in private dental clinics and volunteered in dental screenings, which has broadened her expertise in treating patients from all walks of life.
Having experienced dental phobia as a child, Sangeetha is committed to breaking the cycle by creating a safe and comforting environment for her patients. Her calm, positive demeanour and gentle touch help put even the most anxious individuals at ease. With over 12 years of experience, she is renowned for her thoroughness and meticulous approach. Sangeetha’s areas of expertise include periodontal (gum) debridement, dental prophylaxis, and delivering comprehensive oral health instructions. She empowers her patients to maintain excellent oral hygiene at home by teaching practical techniques in the clinic and takes great satisfaction in witnessing their gum health improve over time.

In Canaan, Sangeetha takes on a dual role as both an Oral Health Therapist and the Operations Manager. In addition to treating patients, she works behind the scenes to streamline processes, making the clinic more efficient for both patients and staff. Her efforts ensure that every visit to the clinic runs smoothly and is as stress-free as possible. Known for her analytical mindset, keen eye for detail, and systematic approach, she excels in project and team management, helping to identify and resolve operational challenges.
 
As a problem-solver, Sangeetha believes that every issue can be resolved with the right strategy. She is a strong advocate for fostering teamwork, ensuring the clinic operates like a well-oiled machine. By promoting a collaborative and inclusive work culture, she encourages every team member to contribute their unique strengths toward achieving the clinic’s goals. Sangeetha’s dedication to operational excellence directly enhances the patient experience by ensuring a seamless and efficient environment.

Outside of her professional life, Sangeetha is a proud ‘pawrent’ to an energetic Goldendoodle pup. She’s a travel enthusiast who loves designing, reading, and solving puzzles. Her weekends are often spent with family, and she cherishes every adventure— whether exploring the world with her dog or discovering new destinations.
