Joedith (Joey) Remano
Joey graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Universidad de Manila under a full scholarship program. She furthered her education with a Postgraduate Diploma in Social Psychology and Counselling from the Aventis School of Management. Her passion for serving the community extends beyond work, as she volunteers as a Sports Leader with Team Nila and teaches as a children’s catechist at her local church.
With over 10 years of experience at Canaan Dental, Joey has honed her expertise in administrative duties, staff scheduling, and management. She brings a strong focus on staff welfare, especially in mental health support, and has a solid background in people management, conflict resolution, and customer service excellence. Her ability to handle diverse and challenging situations in fast-paced environments ensures smooth operations and a positive experience for both colleagues and patients.
Joey believes in fostering a culture of kindness and growth. In her role, she emphasises open communication, active listening, and teamwork, creating an environment where everyone feels heard and valued. She prioritises operational efficiency and ensures that every patient interaction reflects the clinic’s commitment to care and professionalism.
Outside of work, Joey loves travelling, staying active through running, watching Netflix, and indulging in her love for reading and writing. She deeply appreciates connecting with children and the elderly, valuing the unique insights and lessons they offer.
