Synergy in Action: Our Canaan Conference 2024 Was a Hit!
At our clinic, ‘synergy’ is more than just a term we hear often. It’s the way we work, grow, and laugh together. On Saturday, 9 November 2024, we hosted our highly anticipated yearly-held Canaan Conference at the National Library Singapore, and it was everything we hoped for (and then some).
A Day to Learn, Connect, and Recharge
This year’s theme, “Synergy in Dental Care,” brought our clinical team together for a full day of CPE learning and staff bonding, a unique blend of professional development and lighthearted fun.
Despite a few technical hiccups that set us back an hour (what’s an event without a little drama?), the day unfolded beautifully thanks to a team that knows how to adapt, support, and keep the energy up.
Morning Conference: Insightful, Relatable, Real
The morning sessions featured an impressive lineup of speakers, from deep dives into posture and endodontics to relatable discussions on workplace survival and dentist-patient synergy.

The Awards Ceremony at the end of the morning honoured our “Star” 🌟 team members who were nominated and voted for by their colleagues in advance.
It was a heartfelt moment of recognition that showed how much we value each other’s efforts (cue them happy tears 🥹)

Afternoon Fun: From Lunch to Laughter
After a much-needed lunch break (and a bit of lucky draw excitement), the team rolled into an afternoon of team-building games and activities. This part of the day was all about celebrating personalities, breaking silos, and laughing together.

Our annual Canaan Conference isn’t just about skills; it’s about synergy. We run on a flat hierarchy, where every team member’s feedback is valued, and every challenge is met together.
We take time to learn about each other’s stress points, strengths, and quirks, so we can lift each other up. Not just at work, but as a team that genuinely cares.
No doubt, we’ll be back at it again next year! With bigger plans, fewer tech glitches (fingers crossed!), and more ways to grow stronger as ONE team.
